Deleting a publishing job

You should delete publishing jobs that you no longer use.

To delete a publishing job:

  1. In Meridian Enterprise Server Administration Console, in the Data Exchange group, click Jobs. The All Jobs page appears and lists the existing publishing jobs. The jobs are grouped by the name of the computer (cluster node) to which they have been assigned.
  2. Select the publishing job that you want to delete and then in the toolbar, click Remove. A dialog box appears.
  3. If there are no items in the queue that use the publishing job, click YES. The publishing job is deleted.

If there are pending items in the queue that use the job, select the option that corresponds to what you want done with the items and then click NEXT. The publishing job is deleted and the pending items are cancelled, deleted, or ignored depending on the option that you choose.
